How CheapESIM.store compares travel eSIM plans

Our public methodology for catalog eligibility, prices, rankings, freshness, sources and commercial relationships.

Method reviewed on July 23, 2026

Catalog eligibility

Public results use active, available, non-demo catalog records from active non-mock suppliers. Prices must be available in euros and catalog verification must be no more than 30 days old.

A destination is normally eligible for search indexing only when it also has at least three recent offers, published localized content, coverage information, three useful questions and unique metadata. A page can remain accessible without being eligible for indexing.

Ranking and recommendations

The default relevance order uses the listed network generation, number of named networks and product features such as calls, SMS, hotspot and 5G. Visitors can independently sort by total price, price per GB, data allowance or validity.

The best-value score weights data at 50%, validity at 20%, network information at 15% and listed features at 15%, then applies a progressive price penalty. Supplier cost and CheapESIM.store margin do not change rankings or recommendation tie-breaks.

Prices and freshness

Pages show the total catalog price used by the comparator and the latest catalog verification date available for that destination. Supplier availability, exchange rates and prices can change after verification.

CheapESIM.store does not claim to cover every plan on the market. Results describe the currently eligible catalog, not an exhaustive market survey.

Sources and compatibility

Plan characteristics are normalized from connectivity-supplier catalog data. Device records expose their public source, source update and verification dates whenever those fields are available.

A model name alone cannot prove compatibility for every sales region or carrier variant. Buyers must confirm the exact model number, EID and carrier-unlock status before purchase.

Commercial relationship and corrections

CheapESIM.store can earn a margin when a digital eSIM is purchased. That commercial margin is kept out of comparison ranking and tie-break logic.

Data errors and outdated restrictions can be reported by email. Corrections are checked against the catalog or a public primary source before publication.
